The Audi A8 2.8 V6 FSI SE has been named 'Green Car of the Year' in the luxury car class at the 2009 What Car? Green Awards.
It is the second year in a row that the A8 has taken the award and it beat a number of much newer cars to the accolade.
Fergus Cable-Alexander, Product Executive for the A8, collected the award and commented: “This is further proof that the A8 is still right at the top of the class. It ticks all the luxury car boxes – great ride, comfort and refinement and it’s unbeatable as a green car. To win with a petrol engine against all the diesels is even more impressive.”
