Customers from Mercedes-Benz of Norwich, Graham Knights and Dean Peruzzi, and Mercedes-Benz of Kings Lynn customer Mark Nixon came together at the world famous St Andrews Golf Course in Scotland, accompanied by Mercedes-Benz of Norwich Sales Executive James Cooling, to represent the region last month.
An amateur’s competition, the group had an impressive three days on
the course, finishing with the highest amount of Stableford points from
the tournament. The Team Award, which was awarded at a black tie
ceremony held in the St Andrews’ grounds, topped the event off,
championing Robinsons Mercedes-Benz as this year’s winner.
Peruzzi, who plays off a 21 handicap, teed up on the famous Kingsbarn course and registered a total of 68 Stapleford points over the three days’ winning the ‘19 and overs’ handicap category.
The tournament series, whichwas established in 1989, is open to
Mercedes-Benz customers who are invited to participate by their local
dealership. Each year more than 60,000 players tee up in more than 60
countries across the world, all aiming to secure their place in Germany.
Current holders of the Mercedes Trophy are Team France.
