After its introduction in 2003, the Congestion Charge has made driving into the capital more expensive for those with the most polluting cars.  If you’re a regular visitor to London, you’re no stranger to the large white C with a red background signifying entry to the congestion-charging zone. Drivers entering these areas pay a daily fee between specific hours.  Other cities are also following suit with low-emissions and Clean Air Zones popping up around the country. But do the charges apply to all drivers, and do electric cars pay the Congestion Charge?
