Service Advisor/Administrator - Mercedes-Benz, Bury St Edmunds

The role of a Service Advisor is to build rapport with customers while at the same time identifying the customer's needs and give a clear and accurate estimate of the costs and timescales involved.

You will then schedule the job into the workshop, taking into account the complexity of the work and the availability of parts, arrange a loan car if required and keep customers informed of the progress of work through to completion.

Accountabilities also include;

  • Taking bookings for Service, Repairs and MOT inspections
  • Assisting with Aftersales Administration
  • Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times
  • To help the dealership achieve standards of process efficiency

Skills and Experience required to include:

  • Good administration and organisational skills are essential.
  • Enthusiasm to deliver and continuously improve product knowledge
  • The desire to achieve the highest standard of customer care, which is essential to our success
  • Proactive attitude
  • A flexible approach with the ability to adjust in a changing environment
