The multi-award winning city car from Volkswagen – fully electric.
The e-up! is the electric version of Volkswagen’s multi-award-winning city car. With nippy handling, e-up feels even sharper than its petrol-powered equivalent, and its silent cruising makes it relaxing to drive through congested cities. From the interior, the e-up! has the feel of a much bigger car with room for four adults and their luggage.
The fully-charged range sits at 99 miles. Powered by 18.7kWh lithium-ion battery pack that generates 81bhp and 155lb ft of instantly available torque. For a full charge, a three-point plug will take around nine hours, although a fast-charger will take 30 minutes to provide 80% - perfect for an overnight charge.
*includes £4,500 Plug-in car grant
With an electric future, the iconic Golf races ahead.
The e-Golf offers the same virtues of practicality, refinement and advanced technology, but with a purely electric drivetrain and no tailpipe emissions. If you’re looking for the ultimate in driving efficiency alongside reduced operating costs, this is the car for you.
Boasting a range of up to 118 miles between charges, it is the ideal everyday vehicle. Delivering responsive performance, giving you plenty of driving enjoyment, while producing zero emissions when the vehicle is in motion. The conveniently located ‘Powermeter’ shows the energy currently being retrieved, while ‘eMAX’ will display to the driver the maximum available acceleration performance.
*includes £4,500 Plug-in car grant
High performance Plug-in hybrid with space and comfort, the best of all worlds.
The Passat GTE combines a modern conventional petrol engine with an innovative electric motor –a 1.4 litre 156 PS TSI direct injection and a 115 PS electric motor, producing a maximum of 218PS when combined.
The Passat GTE allows the possibility of zero emission driving with a range of over 660 miles all in the same car. Performance is by no means sacrificed, a 0-62 mph time of 7.4 seconds and a top speed of 139mph mean that the Passat GTE is as fun as it is versatile.
*includes £2,500 Plug-in car grant
The government provides a grant towards the cost of each new electric (plug-in) car you buy, if it meets certain conditions. The Plug-in Car Grant can help you save between £2,500 - £4,500 on brand new environmentally friendly electric and plug-in hybrid Volkswagen cars.

1The ‘zero emission range’ is the distance the vehicle can travel without producing any CO2 emissions.
*This information should be used for illustration purposes only. Standard EU Test figures for comparative purposes, may not reflect real driving results. *The 'combined/weighted' fuel consumption / CO2 figures are calculated from two test results: one when the high voltage battery is fully charged and another when the high voltage battery is discharged. The two results are a weighted average, taking into account mileage range on battery power only, providing a figure in a variety of charge conditions. Extended range achieved by 1.4 TSI petrol engine generating electricity. Fuel consumption and CO2 emissions figures are obtained under standardised test conditions (Directive 93/116/EEC) using a representative model. This allows direct comparison between different models from different manufacturers, but may not represent the actual fuel consumption achieved in ‘real world’ driving conditions. Electricity is mains sourced and emissions are while driving. More information is available at www.dft.gov.uk/vca.
A payment plan offering flexibility should an electric vehicle not suit your lifestyle. With the ability to hand back the car after 12 months (penalty free) and monthly payments tailored to what you, deciding to go electric is all that much easier.
