Volkswagen e-Golf

Volkswagen’s ‘Think Blue’ philosophy encompasses a range of technologies designed to offer optimum solutions for more environmentally-friendly driving.

The e-Golf has been designed as an alternative all-electric drive system that produces zero emissions whilst in motion, and accelerates to big city pace in just a few seconds. A medium hatchback, with 5 doors and 5 seats –the classic Golf is now electric.

With 115PS (85 kW) maximum output and 270 Nm of torque, the e-golf overturns the misconception that electric vehicles aren’t top performers. The electric motor achieves a top speed of 86mph, where law permits, and accelerates from 0-62mph in just 10.4 seconds.

Interior Design

Contrast ‘blue’ stitching and white instrument lighting add a glow of sophistication to the interior while a Multi-function display lets you personalise your driving experience.

Optional low ambient blue lighting create a special and 'charged' atmosphere.

LED Headlights

Distinctive luminosity, similar to natural daylight, the full LED headlights are energy efficient and prominent with the unique blue line running through the headlight lens.

The clear colours symbolise the
e-Golf’s individuality and all-electric zero emission* environmental credentials.

Driving Features

Includes Adaptive Cruise Control allowing you to set distances and speed. Lane Assist warns you via a gentle steering wheel vibration and the Traffic Light Recognition detects signs to display speed limits and other warnings. The Park Assist can actively support the driver by taking over control of the steering to park in the available space.

Incorporates intelligent technologies such as e-motors, innovative gearboxes and Lithium-ion Batteries. The Lithium-Ion cells in the new e-Golf allow for a range of up to 118 miles, tested to the official NEFZ^ standard on a single charge.

Electric equipment as standard:

  • Two charging cables – 16amp AC cable for wall-box/ charge-points (mode 3) and 10amp mains charge cable (mode 2)
  • Socket AC type 2 (DC charge)
