After three successful years, The Adrian Flux Lap of Anglia returned this August welcoming cyclists across the county to compete in a 400 mile over 4 days.
Supporting the event, Robinsons Motor Group were proud to assist in the charity fundraiser, which looked to raise much needed funds for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
Entering a team, Robinsons Motor Group saw John Bradley, Simon Meredith and Chris Lincoln joining the ranks, proudly donning the charity’s red jerseys to show their support.
Commenting before the event, Robinsons Motor Group Business Development Manager, John Bradley, said: “This is my second time riding the full event, I am a little apprehensive as I know what to expect this time, and Norfolk and the surrounding counties are certainly not flat!”
Starting at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kings Lynn, the first day will see the cyclists ride around the coast and into Norwich (94 miles) followed by the second day which sees the track leave Norwich heading to the coast and around Ipswich (109 miles).
As day three takes hold, the route leaves Ipswich heading for Luton (95 miles before the final day sees the teams head back to Kings Lynn after a long 110 mile ride.
Having supported the event for the last three years, Robinsons Motor Group are also providing a sign written Volkswagen van and car, opting for the largest demonstrator available to accommodate all the water, supplies and cyclists bags at this years’ growing event.
Taking place from 10th August, find out more at the Lap of Anglia website.
We wish the Robinsons, and all competing teams, the best of luck.
