Call Centre Operator

We have a vacancy for enthusiastic individuals to join our Team of Call Operators in our locations based in Norwich and Peterborough. Whilst these roles are full-time, including a Saturday rota of 1 in 4, we would consider a job-share to cover the business opening hours. The successful candidates will be reliable, organised and willing to assist in all areas of the Central Team.

As first point of contact into the business you must provide a quality introduction, distributing calls effectively to achieve customer satisfaction.

You must be reliable, polite, professional and patient. Taking and completing comprehensive messages, when a call cannot be successfully transferred.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly via telephone
  • Possession of excellent listening skills and communication skills
  • Numerate and literate
  • Possession of strong self-organisational skills
  • Ability to convey information accurately between source and third party
  • Possession of a calm and even temperament
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Ability to handle pressure without it affecting working relationships and effectiveness
  • Knowledge of the motor trade would be advantageous, but is not essential
